Renovations to school facilities achieve many goals. Code compliance and safety upgrades are periodically necessary. Aging building systems, even when well-maintained, must eventually be replaced. On a larger scale, changes in curriculum require corresponding shifts in the allocation and configuration of teaching spaces.
